When planning your dream home marquee wedding, it’s crucial to consider both size and the ground where the marquee will be placed. At Your Marquee Ltd, we offer a range of sailcloth pole and frame marquees in various sizes to suit your needs.

Our sailcloth pole marquees are stunning and spacious, measuring 12m in width and available in lengths from 12m to 36m. These marquees can only be set up on grass and require guy ropes, meaning excess space should be taken into consideration. This is an important factor to keep in mind as you plan your layout.

In contrast, our frame marquees offer more versatility, as they can be placed on both grass and hard standing surfaces. When setting them up on hardstanding, please note that they will require water or concrete ballasts, which incur an additional charge. Our frame marquees are 9m wide and can be extended in 3m increments. We also provide smaller options, including 3m x 3m and 6m x 6m frame marquees, perfect for entrances or as standalone spaces. Don’t forget to also consider additional areas you might need for your special day, such as catering tents, toilets, or other functional spaces.

To effectively plan for your marquee, start by determining the electrical requirements. It’s essential to consult with all your suppliers to gather detailed information about their electrical needs. Generator vs. Mains Power:

If your home doesn’t have a sufficient power supply, you may need to hire a generator. We provide super-silent generators which are 50kva (approximately twice a household power supply). We can also supply as much or as little distribution as you like, so you can have power wherever you need it. Our Generators are wheeled, meaning that they can be taken to most places that a vehicle can reach. With their large fuel tank capacities, they can run constantly for over 24 hours on one fill up. Set at a good distance from the marquee, these self-contained units provide a constant reliable source of power throughout your event.

Catering Arrangements

Consider the layout of your marquee carefully when planning for catering. It is important to ensure there’s enough space for the catering team to work efficiently and safely. We provide wind-tested, high-quality catering marquees in various sizes, complete with wooden flooring and lighting. We also work closely with customers and caterers to determine the number of tables needed. The most popular sizes are 6m x 6m or 9m x 6m with approximately ten trestle tables. This is usually a good starting point, however, it is always best to double-check this exactly with your chosen caterer. We also provide fridge trailers which some caterers may require you to have! Toilet Facilities

Providing adequate toilet facilities is essential for guest comfort. Depending on the size of your guest list, you may need to rent portable toilets. Your Marquee can provide Luxury Loo Hire at the best possible prices. Like our generators, these can be positioned at your preferred location, ensuring optimal convenience for your event.
