Featured Wedding: Rebecca & Krys

By Your Marquee

Facing 60km/h winds is challenging at the best of times, but when constructing a 9m wide marquee those conditions almost make it impossible. However, that is exactly what we did for Rebecca & Krys’s wedding back in June this year.

I think that is the closest we have ever been to delaying a build and coming back the following day but we battled through. The location of the marquee was in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of Keighley but offered little in the way of shelter from the elements. We were forced to improvise, using the Your Marquee vehicles as a wind break.

Luckily, the weather was kind for Rebecca & Krys and did improve for the wedding day itself. The marquee looked fantastic and it was a great day for everyone involved.

Rebecca & Krys used a number of a local suppliers to compliment their own ideas, I have named just a few but that is not to take away from any of the other suppliers used. Rebecca & Krys’s appreciation to everyone is clear.
